These templates are often used in behavior and personality assessments to deliver a result to a test taker. The result can be a ranking (word or short phrase) and/or a block of text providing an explanation to the user about the meaning of their score.

Each band entered represents one letter grade or optionally a ranking based on a score range.
16 Available Scoring Bands Per Template
Each template can have up to as many as 16 scoring bands. Most templates will need far fewer than the 16 provided. The empty score bands will be ignored. All scoring bands are listed in highest score order, regardless of entry order.
Score Ranges
By default, score ranges are computed as a percentage score out of 100%. For example, for the letter grade A, typically the scoring band score range would have a starting high value of 100 and an ending low value of 90. Here are a few things to keep in mind when creating score ranges:
- Ranges cannot overlap
- Values must be entered as whole numbers and not decimals
- The starting high value is always equal to and less than
- The ending low value is always equal to and greater than
- If the Percentage or Points Based radio button below is set to Points, then score ranges will be computed against the points scored versus the percentage scored
You also have the option to choose ranges that are point based. Be sure to select the one that best meets your needs.
