How do I add custom user fields for when my users sign up?

As an administrator, you may want to add custom user fields to collect additional data on your users for any number of internal purposes. Examples include membership numbers, identification codes, addresses, or special dates.

Gauge allows you to easily set up custom user fields in the Configuration Settings. You can find this section under Manage  >  Settings  >  Configuration Settings  >  Custom User Fields

To add the custom user fields click on the "Add Custom User Field" button on the bottom of the page. Then fill out the name and description, make sure the "Is Activated" checkbox is checked, adjust any settings then save the user field at the bottom.
