Intro to Users & User Groups

Users and User Groups control who within your organization will have access to your test and learning content.

Users

Users are individuals with their own unique login credentials and specific settings.

There are typically four types of users within a Gauge account.

  1. Superusers who have full account access
  2. Admins or managers who have functional access based on their specific role. Admin types may include:
    • Test admins
    • User admins
    • Reporting admins 
    • Account admins
  3. Test takers who have access to learning and test content
  4. Proctors who have access to tests for monitoring purposes

 

User Groups

User groups are used to organize, grant, or limit access to content.

User groups also make it easy to distribute content, communicate with your users, and apply settings at a group level.
